It is the year 1955 in Centerfold, Wyoming, a sleepy little town that seems normal to the naked eye; however, it holds a dark secret. Those who reside in Centerfold aren't what they seem. Your family doctor who you've seen since you were five, that little old lady down the street who always yells at kids to get off her lawn, and that homeless man who keeps asking for change? They aren't exactly who they seem to be. In fact, they are descendants of ancient goddesses, fallen angels, shapeshifters and others that thrive here and call Centerfold home.
Humans also live among them. At first, the non-humans didn't know that they were actually there to keep an eye on them but they eventually found out after a confrontation. The town was designated to house all the supernaturals and paranormals after society found out that they had them living among them. And being it's the 50's paranormal's weren't tolerated as easily as they thought. Several humans have even taken the job of being the paranormal police. They make sure that everything goes smoothly in the town and they handle a lot of the patrolling and disturbances between the paranormal such as fights, making sure the secret doesn't leave the vicinity of the town and general police work.
Things seemed peaceful for a while, but then something rocked the town to its core. The mayor's daughter, who was rumoured to have been DATING a non-human (the mayor forbid her to date anyone non-human) has gone missing. Blame and suspicion float around freely here. As a result, unbeknownst to the police, a secret band of humans have gathered and formed 'the hunters', a group of scared and resentful men and women set on completely eradicating the paranormal individuals from their town.
What really happened to the mayor's daughter, and who is the real culprit? Who can you trust if you can't trust those closest to you, even your own neighbor? And will the Hunters succeed in wiping out every paranormal living in Centerfold?
