located throughout the city of chicago, this modern day roleplay takes place in various hot spots, houses, parks, and forests in the bustling center of illinois. for those unfamiliar with the area, the city has skyscrapers, some with old architecture dating back to the 20's, some new 'glass boxes.' most roads are paved but there are alleyways and it is not uncommon for there to be trees with little fences around them, small gardens, and sections of abandoned parking lots where weeds grow in abundance.

some sixty years ago, a deal was struck in blood.

we won't hurt you, you won't hurt us.

little did the signing creatures know that the truce meant being chained to mortal rules, confined in a city and forced to feast on the hardened flesh of beasts, not the subtle sweetness of mortal breast. sixty years they have been held by their chains and sixty years allowed the mortals to grow accustomed to the harmless vampires and werewolves roaming the streets.

sixty years too long.

can you blame the creatures for getting anxious? the vampires and werewolves are acting up, and slayers are being born as a result.

they call it the uprising.

three groups represent three different species, each group plotting separately, in hiding, all wanting the same thing; the end to the sixty year truce.
