KATIE
It's like forgetting the words to your favorite song.
You can't believe it; you were always singing along.
You can't believe it; you were always singing along.
Katie unlocked the door quietly entering the apartment's small hallways. She wore a pair of baggy jeans with a hole on the side, and she didn't buy them that way either. She had stolen a few fruits from a stand and as she went to scamper away her jeans had gotten caught. Katie also wore a loose hoodie, it was morning and the air was always but chilly. A sling-bag was hanging off her shoulder. Long, pretty, blonde hair swept down her back, and her eyes seemed to glow a bright blue against her smooth, pale, face. Most of the other apartments were shut and the widows drawn, which was fine by her. Katie hurried down the stairs and pushed open the door and stepped into the city air.
She would have to walk a ways to get into the good parts of Chicago. This area was on the outskirts and the parts where most tried to avoid, but Katie was use to it. She kept her head low as he shuffled along the cracked pavement, avoiding eye contact with the men smoking near by. In her pocket was a note with an address. It was for an auto repair shop. She had logged onto the IM system and had been greeted by a girl named Ava. She had said Katie could stop by and even possibly get a job. Katie didn't really start to interact with people until a week ago when she had been bitten by a werewolf. She still couldn't believe it and she knew very little of the world of wolves and vampires. She mine as well try to get a little more involved with Chicago, well besides when she was sneaking around. She didn't think she would be very good at auto-repair she wasn't to graceful when it came to these things.
Huge skyscrapers looked down upon Katie as she reached the main parts of Chicago. The pavements went from cracked to smooth. The crowds increased and she had to push her way along the alleys to find the streets she wanted. Finaly however the shop came into view. Huge garage-doors were lined up against the shop, some open and cars both broken and new stood int the entrance, some raised and some in the parking lot. She felt nervous and awkward about showing up at an unknown area. Biting her lip, Katie proceeded forward and stopped at one of the garage doors, peeking her head in. "Hello?" She called quietly, sure no-one could hear her.

Notes: I wasn't sure what the autorepair shop looked like so I only went into brief detail :-)
