Demetri and Becca met last year when Becca was shipped out to live with her aunt. The way they met is really a display of Dem's protective nature. Becca was being bullied by a couple of preppy, popular girls in the hallway. As they shoved Becca backwards and her head hit a wall she caught a flash of black stepping between her and the girls. When she looked up she saw a tall, thin, pale boy staring down the preppy girls. The boy was telling them to leave her alone and find someone else to bully. Then he helped her up and held her while she cried.

Ever since then Demetri has been Becca's Knight In Tripp Pants so to speak. He regularly hovers over her to protect her from bullies, though they don't have every single class together. Demetri also has been desperately trying to get Becca to stop cutting and to not be depressed. Why, you might ask? Well, the vamp is completely in love with the shy little goth girl. He has been since the day he helped her, but he has never told her. Becca likes Demetri but is trying to not get attached to anyone so there's less people to hurt if she dies.



Prissy is the local slutty, popular girl who has her sights set to bully Becca. She's a loud, obnoxious bitch who is only out for herself and her needs. She's extremely materialistic and one of the most popular girls in the high school. Prissy doesn't understand the word 'no', having been spoiled her entire life, and expects others to bow at her feet. She's definitely a bully and the things she says and does to her victims is pretty awful. She physically as well as mentally abuses her bullying victims, even telling them to kill themselves.



Daniel is a really unique kid. He's pretty eccentric and into steampunk and things most kids his age aren't. He's fluent in both German and English and absolutely loves talking in the former. He's an eccentric to put it lightly. He's got some quirks, but is a genuinely nice kid. He's highly intelligent and his maturity level rivals that of a thirty year old. The kid rarely watches TV and prefers reading the newspaper and drinking coffee to listening to modern music. He loves Classical and World music and some 60s/70s music. He's quite a funny kid though his brand of humor usually goes over the other kids' heads. He's shy and socially awkward due to being so quirky and is really quiet. He and Becca last year and have been best friends ever since.




Mr. Lugosi is the creative writing and journalism teacher at the high school. He is a creative soul with a certain affection for the odd and unusual kids. He's sweet and charming with a quiet temperament. Mr. Lugosi is a flirty guy when it comes to some of the teachers at the school, too. Mr. Lugosi will strike up a friendship with Becca after stepping in while she's being bullied outside his class. She will latch onto him and he will become a mentor of sorts. Becca will develop a one-sided crush on him, though it won't develop to anything. When her aunt becomes ill and dies, Becca will be in his custodial care.
