Full name: Felix Vincent Lefevre.
Nickname(s): Occasionally ‘Flick.’
Gender: Male.
Age: 108.
Sexuality: Heteroflexible.
Species: Vampire.
Class: Childe.
Allegiance: Lié par l’honneur.
Inventory: Felix travels light. The usual money-keys-phone combo, a lighter, some rizlas and filters and weed in the evenings perhaps, and no weapons whatsoever. He does, however, have a battered old bicycle that he seems to ride everywhere in the city, and a big old brooch he wears on the lapelle of whichever snappy blazer or suit he's got on: the profile silhouette on it was carved in likeness of his mother. He doesn't know for sure, having never met her, but his brothers always assured him it looks just like her. He considers it a lucky charm.

Appearance:
It’s perfectly possible to tell that Felix and Jason are brothers. They have the same evenly-shaped face, mottled green eyes and full lips. They’re also both fairly tall, though Jason still stands over Felix by perhaps an inch. Felix’s hair is darker, however, and he keeps it longer—not to mention in a more rumpled, unruly, bedhead style. He also cuts it asymmetrically, with the main body of his hair always lazily brushed to one side. He doesn’t go for the same clean-cut feel as his brother, his comparative free-spiritedness showing in the clothes he wears: Felix has a very bizarre sense of style that’s all his own, usually sharp and svelte but in bright, bold colours and mixed patterns. That and the fact he grins and winks and expresses himself a whole lot more openly. For the occasions that demand it, Felix can make himself look respectable, but he’s always got to be just a little snazzier than necessary.
A narrower frame is compensated for by plenty of energy; Felix is bright and smiley, and his body language almost always emphasizes his gregarious and schmoozing nature. Like his brother, he’s good at appearing sincerely interested in and charmed by people, in turn charming them. As childe vampires often are, he’s aesthetically pleasing and can use his eyes to an almost hypnotic effect. He’s handsome in a sprightly, boyish sort of way and knows how to use it to his advantage. While he carries himself gracefully, he has a tiny attention span which becomes clear after a significant amount of time is spent with him by the way he’s always moving onto new things to look at and touch and do, getting restless easily and lacking the refined patience of most vampires his age.

Personality:
Somewhat spoilt as a youngster, Felix can be overconfident and over-idealistic. He’s a free spirit at heart, more concerned with doing what he loves than he is with the ancient reputation of his ancient family. It isn’t as though he fails at keeping up appearances on purpose—he’s just not cut out for that stuff. He’s a hedonist; drinking, dancing, socializing, smoking the funny stuff and flirting with practically everyone he ever meets. He seems absolutely impossible to offend, rolling with verbal punches and rebuffs, and generally has a fair temperament. Occasionally he’ll pout and fuss, but not without a twinkle in his eye. He’s a playful sort and teases people almost as much as he flirts with them.
He interacts freely and openly and is very outgoing—in fact, he hates being on his own and tries to surround himself with people, strangers and all.
No matter how easy his father went on him, however, he still has some of that Lefevre… stateliness that seems to run in the family. He does all kinds of stupid, reckless stuff (what’s the point in an immortal body if one doesn’t push it to its very limits?) but somehow manages to maintain his dignity at all times. He just doesn’t care enough what anyone thinks to be shamed—and that’s the real trick to success, in his opinion. He doesn’t enjoy the emotional apathy, though. It would hardly be apathy if he did. That might be the reason that he goes around searching for highs and lows… and while nicotine and weed is all well and good, for his species, the biggest high available is the hunt.
So he’s a wild child, shameless and uncontrollable… unless you’re his big brother, Jason. Then he’ll try to be on his best behaviour. ‘Best’ being relative. He’s still irresponsible, careless and impulsive—but at least he’s passionate and genuinely devoted to their cause. People have often tried to attach meaning to his acting out: anger, attention-seeking, boredom, brattiness... the alphabetized list goes on. It's probably a bit of all of the above, but Felix is saying nothing on the matter.

History:
The littlest Lefevre was born four years after his next oldest brother, Jason. By then his parents had raised two sons with an iron fist already, and went a little easier on the baby of the family. Besides, Felix was always such an adorably fawn-eyed little thing. He never knew his mother, who was killed by vampire hunters shortly after his birth (which may have been the reason his father let him off the hook somewhat with the controlling-ness). In her place he latched onto his big brothers Jason and Tyler… particularly Jason. Felix was allowed more of a childhood than either of his siblings had ever been afforded, allowing him to exercise his imagination and never being impressed with the importance of reputation and respectability.
He was just sixteen when the family moved to Chicago. By then Felix had blossomed into his own person: perhaps not as smart or as sophisticated as his brothers, but just as determined, loyal and charming. He also grew fond of art and music, getting involved in many of the music scenes throughout the decades that he lived. At sixteen, however, he was still relatively young and naïve: he tagged around everywhere after his brother and let him take care of the business side of things, more sightseeing than anything else—though he always admired him. Felix was useful to the family because he was the harmless-looking one that people just inexplicably wanted to trust and coddle. He tired of being the docile baby of the family, but went along with it for as long as he had to—which was while Jason took off by himself, travelling the world.
Eventually Felix went through his own ‘rebellion’ phase, deciding that he’d had enough following around and just wanted to have fun. Resignedly, his father let him get away with it, still somewhat downhearted after the death of his wife and knowing that hey, at least he had two sons that would grow up to be pillars of society. Felix had some romantic idea about joining the French Resistance during the second World War—went at it full throttle and barely came out of it alive, or as alive as a vampire was considered to be. He’d always thought he was untouchable, being what he was, but that was proven wrong when he scraped by with the skin of his pointy teeth more than once.
He found it absolutely thrilling.
Felix loved the various latter-half decades of the twentieth century, the fashions and music and lifestyle choices available. And how he loved the stories that his brother had to tell, of all the distant places and cultures! Jason taught him several languages and even as the truce clamped down on them, they spent many years going their separate ways and then meeting up again. Unlike Jason, Felix was actually quite devastated when their father died—probably because, again, Pier was always gentler with his youngest son than he was with his brothers. Felix sucked it up—this was the one thing he felt he couldn’t really talk about with Jason—and moved on, but ended up sticking noticeably closer to his big brother once his daddy was gone, and wasn’t quite his perky self for a while. He’d been an anchor in his life, once, and it had been comforting in its own way, even if Felix had always wanted to drift free. When Jason moved to Chicago, Felix padded after him.
It was only two years ago that the eldest brother of the remaining Lefevre family, Tyler, ‘died.’ No details were given on the matter and there was no body to examine. Jason suspected foul play—a break in the truce. And that was when Lié par l’honneur was born. Tyler’s mysterious death triggered a massive emotional response in Felix. He was the vampiric resistance’s first recruit and, vampires loving their nepotism, is a high-ranking member within it.
When he isn’t taking care of the unofficial business, Felix takes up time doing tailoring work in a little suit shop in downtown Chicago, tucked a little off to one side. They specialize in clothing that’s a bit off-the-rails, adding their own twists to classics and current trends. Felix mainly works on suits, but he’s good with fabric and can get most items of clothing together in a flash; it’s a hobby he’s been maintaining on-off for several decades now. If he likes you, he makes it his prerogative to make sure that you look fabulous.
