[/color] It was a random rant, but that was what happened when Aislynn grew accustom to talking. Saint gave a small chuckle at his changing the plans for the revolution. “That sounds great to me. I don't like over-crowded atmosphere. But I hope none of them are afraid of getting ran over...” Saint sucked at go-karts or bumper cars, or anything like that. She was always hitting corners. But it was fun and wasn't that what mattered? “Though I'm sure whoever runs the go-kart track might be upset at all those poptart pieces.” It was almost as if they were really planning this out. Though Aislynn wasn't paranoid, it did run across her mind that she had just met this man; he might have been being serious. But she doubted it. Saint nodded at his statement about Halloween. “I'm planning out something super awesome this year. I just need a few other people to pull it off.” Aislynn wasn't giving out her idea to anyone, though she was sure other people would do it too. “I always go as a super hero though. It is that moment where I can truly be people I want to be and no one judges you for it.” Not that she really cared about what people thought of how she dressed. It wasn't that she didn't care either. It was hard to explain. At his answers, even though once again she didn't mean it; a slight sad look settled into her face. “Oh, okay. I understand, really I do.” Aislynn felt foolish. As he handed the camera back she slipped it right back into her pocket. “Thanks for the compliment though, Todd.” She said, pulling up a small grin though it still looked sad.[/ul][/blockquote][/blockquote] Word Count: 401 Comment: Goin' back down xD Outfit: Outfit! Todd finished off his ice-cream, rolling his eyes sympathetically at the tale of her waitressing woes. “Oh, tell me about it. People are so unbelievably crap sometimes. Trust me, tending to drunks on Friday nights is about as bad for me as it is for you.” Just because he was trying to set their broken nose in a splint to save their face didn’t mean the drunks would be happy about it, apparently. He clicked his tongue softly afterwards. “Seriously, kiddo, don’t let it bother you if they whine. Seriously, if someone gets that wound up about a pizza topping, the problem is not you.” Oh, sure, sometimes people just had a bad day and it was the last straw. But usually? They were just massive assholes.
The go-karting plan wasn’t particularly serious. Todd had seen go-karting accidents. Then again, Todd had seen practically every single kind of accident and incident and collision and assault imaginable. Unlike Aislynn, it really had made him paranoid about certain things. “Please. All you have to do is give ‘em big adorable woogie eyes and they’d forgive us in an instant.”
Speaking of. Aaarrgh. She was making it so difficult for him to say no. While he can be a bit gruff and a bit socially inept, most people twig quite quickly that Todd is a big old softie somewhere inside him. Sure, as an EMT he saw people at their most violent or stupid every single day of the week, and he certainly had to toughen up after witnessing his first multiple car pile-up, but he’d always been a sucker for a big, sad pair of eyes. He always sort of felt like he should have had little brothers or sisters to look after. (His half-siblings didn’t count. They were brats, besides which he didn’t get to meet them until they were nearly grown up.)
“Awww, come on,” he said, reluctantly but absolutely unstoppably. “If you really can’t find anyone else to do it… and I mean seriously, there are zero other options and you really need the practise and on that one day you need to do it people’re just too busy for you…” He sighed. “I guess there can’t be any harm in it.” And Aislynn should be able to decipher that as a most definite yes.

[/color] She murmured laughing slightly. Drunk people were crazy... Saint jumped and made a slight squeal noise when he agreed. “Oh thank you so much! You wouldn't believe how many guys told me no! This is so awesome! Uh, here's my number.” She pulled out a paper and jotted it down real quick. “Text me or something so I can save yours to my phone. I left it at my house like a dope, and I'll lose a number on a paper.” She said, giggling slightly. “I'll figure out a day that we can do some sort of photoshoot and run the make-up by you so you aren't completely uncomfortable or anything.” she was talking about thirty-words in a second. It was horrid. “Ugh, I have to go. It was nice meeting you and again, so sorry about all that Skipper stuff.” She said laughing, getting the dogs adjusted into a comfortable way to walk with them. “I hope you enjoyed the ice cream, see ya later, alligator!” she said, beaming with happiness that she finally got a male model. With a final wave she lead the dogs off into the direction of her apartments.[/ul][/blockquote][/blockquote] Word Count: 264 Comment: -_- that so sucked. but yay it beginning! Outfit: Outfit!
