* civilian
civilian mortals are aware of the fantasy world. they live amidst it and thrive on the vow the creatures made, searing that they will feast only on animals, not mortals. these citizens are powerless, equipped only with skills your average Chicago citizen may have. perhaps they like to go to the gym a lot? perhaps they're a doctor? it's up to you.
civilians may have a familiar- a pet who goes everywhere with them- this pet must be a domesticated animal. no white tigers roaming around chicago. it's not vegas.

* bitten
the bitten vampires were once mortals, bitten by a childe and turned vampire themselves. they are in face the living dead. their lack of blood requires them to seek blood from another source. in the eyes of the fantasy realm they are often cheeky brats who try too hard to seem powerful. they are not considered of the same class as childe vampires and this is not something they are happy about. there are huge disadvantages held for turned vampires. the bitten burn in sunlight. they also do hot have the venom necessary to change a mortal. their fangs are always elongated. the bitten do, however, hold the same strengths as the childe vampires when it comes to their attractive looks and scent, their speed, their ability to hypnotize mortals, their godly strength, and their large threshold for pain. they can be killed with a wooden steak to the heart, burned by crosses and holy water, and hate garlic. they have no reflection and human food no longer appeases them. they are immune to mortal disease and age and generally have a faster healing time for none wood/holywater/cross - related wounds.

* childe
the childe are vampires born from a long line of vampires. in the eyes of the fantasy world, childe are old money. they don't have to try to hard to intimidate; they know they're scary and they know they're respected. due to their lack of blood it is necessary for them to find blood elsewhere. the biggest two advantages that the childe have over their bitten children are that they may go out into the sunlight without burning. they do, however, lose their energy very quickly, becoming weak and violently ill. the second advantage is the venom that flows through them, which allows them to change mortals into their bitten. only the childe may turn humans. they do so by biting them and leaving them with blood in their veins. this is not done without effort. the childe do, however, hold the same strengths as their bitten children when it comes to their attractive looks and scent, their speed, their ability to hypnotize mortals, their godly strength, and their large threshold for pain. they also have the power to withdraw their fangs to blend in with mortals more. they can be killed with a wooden steak to the heart, burned by crosses and holy water, and hate garlic. they have no reflection and human food no longer appeases them. they are immune to mortal disease and age and generally have a faster healing time for non wood/holywater/cross- related wounds.

* changed
changed werewolves were once mortal and now, every full moon, they lose control and change into a wolf beast. they take on the appearance of regular wolves, but much larger. they cannot talk out loud in their wolf forms, they may only communicate with other wolf/lycans. the change lasts for three nights and they have no control nor memory of what they did for those three nights. they may change other humans by biting them. they are killed by silver to the heart and generally have a faster healing time for non- silver- related injuries. they feast on raw flesh.

* lycan
lycans are werewolves born from a long line of werewolves. they hold no quarrel with the changed and sympathize with their inability to control their actions for the lycans, unlike their changed children, have complete and utter control of themselves in their wolf form. they can not prevent themselves from changing the three nights of the full moon, but they are aware of themselves and their actions and still can think like a typical mortal, choose who to hurt and who to leave alone. however they cannot talk out loud in their wolf forms, they can only communicate with other wolves/lycans. their control exists in other regions, such as the ability to choose to be immortal or not. this happens because it is no uncommon for a lycan to change a human mate. when this happens, the changeling does continue to age, and therefore the lycan often chooses to do the same. they may change humans by biting them. even in their human form they have a great sense of smell and hearing and they are killed by silver to the heart and generally have a faster healing time for non- silver- related injuries. they feast on raw flesh
